Adverse Childhood Experiences

I first learned of this term ACES, or adverse childhood experiences, from one of my classes.  I believe it was from a trauma-and-recovery class I had taken in 2020 or 2021.

  • why was i selected to be mother mary in a kinder garden school play, suddenly and randomly by my teacher (I still remember her name, even to this day)
  • they asked me/made me hold a baby jesus doll wrapped up in a blanket and "just sit there" they told me, for an xmas play/around december time
  • why did the neighborhood molester attempt to molest me around age 5?  (I still remember the street name of the street I lived on at that time!)
  • they told me to call a girl "fatso" in/around kinder and I did it; i confessed and renounced and showed repentance by befriending a large girl in the 4th grade and showing friendship and acceptance to her. (Name-calling is never okay.  I don't like being called "homo-phobic" by the DARK side either behind my back nor to my face).
  • i found myself eating lunch alone all the time in middle school and high school; i'm so blessed a kind girl befriended me, saw me, and shared the gospel with me, the GREATEST gift of all!)
  • one time I was led to pray for someone's sore leg from some injury, and he stated that HE FELT SOMETHING!!  I know God was, and STILL IS, after him; all this man has to do is "make his peace with God" once again (if he has not done so already).  We all need a fresh shower from time to time, yes?
  • why were all the girls told they're beautiful, but excluding me from the compliment, giving me a complex of sorts?
If we LISTEN to the VOICE of the true SHEPHERD we will be safe and protected, blessed and more blessed.

STAY close to the True Shepherd, the One who cleanses from all sin, the One who is the Gate, the Rock, the Redeemer, the Best.  STAY living in HOLINESS and RIGHTEOUSNESS.  (Confess your sin when needed, 1 John 1:9).

Jesus Christ is My Hero!!
