Equality Act?

IF Joe Biden were to be the next US President, he has promised to pass the Equality Act within the 1st 100 days of being in office.  I'd like to take a brief minute or so to talk about some of its ramifications.   At the end, I will share the gospel with you, and offer you an opportunity to receive Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.  Some of the material from this blog post was taken from an online source listed below at bottom of article.

Equality Act = must make the transgender person feel comfortable; must allow the biological male who identifies as a woman to enter into a woman's restroom and/or gym locker room; allow transgender biological male to participate in traditional woman's sports.

Equality Act = NOT equal; it puts women down; demeans women; does not support biological women by forcing them to accept biologically-born MALE as female.

  • Equality Act = Legalized Sin
  • Sin = missing the mark
  • Sin = leading to death
  • Sin = Addictions, such as to alcohol, chemical, drugs, porn, and so on
  • LGBQ-lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, homosexual
  • Equality Act is based on a lie.  The TRUTH is God created humankind as male and female; each person is born as a biological male, or as a biological female.  One X chromosome, one Y chromosome for a male; two X chromosomes for a female.  This is science and fact.  A person who claims they are transgender, or LGBQ, are CHOOSING a sexual act that is contrary and against God's original GOOD design.
What is truth?
All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.  There is no one without fault, not one without sin.  That's the bad news if we were to stop right there.  But, God is love.  For God so loved the world, that He gave His One and only Son, that whosoever would BELIEVE in him would not perish but have ETERNAL LIFE.  The truth is that God is good; God is love; God is Sovereign and He holds the whole world in His hands.  God is everywhere; God is all-knowing; and God is all-loving.

Do you want eternal life?  Do you want to know that when you die, you'll go to heaven?  Do you want to be forgiven of your sin?  If so, then you must put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ.  Ask Him to forgive you for all your sins, and receive the free gift of forgiveness that Christ offers.  He extends his hand in friendship to you; all you have to do is reach out to take a hold of his hand.  Believe the truth that God is love, and that God loves you.  God made you and he loves you.  He wants you to be born again.

How can you be born again?  All who call upon the name of the Lord will be saved.  Say yes to Jesus, ask him to forgive you for all your sins, and he will forgive you.  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  Believe that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life; no one can come to the Father but through him.  Receive Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior.

Are you willing to ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior now?  If so, I would like to lead you in a short prayer to invite Jesus to be the Lord and Savior of your life now.  If you agree, if you have the desire to say yes to Jesus now, then pray the following prayer aloud:

Dear Jesus, I come to You now; and admit that I am a sinner; I have turned my heart, mind, and actions against You in different ways.  I admit that I have not followed Your ways.  Dear Lord, I am sorry for my sin, and I ask You to please forgive me for all my sin; for doing things I shouldn't have done, and for not doing things that I should have done.  Thank you dear Lord for your forgiveness; I receive the free gift you offer me of forgiveness in Jesus Christ.  I call upon your Name now, dear Lord Jesus, to save me from my sin, and make me born again.  I receive Jesus now as my personal Lord and Savior.  Come fill me with the Holy Spirit and help me live the rest of my life from here on out, for Your kingdom and Your glory.  I give You my life and I give You my heart today, dear Lord.  Thank you for you love for me.  In Christ's name I pray, Amen.

What are my next steps?  What should I do now?  If you just prayed that prayer, congratulations my friend, and welcome to the family of God!  I'm so excited for you!  The next step is for you to get plugged into a true Bible-teaching church so that you can learn and grow more in your new found faith and relationship with Christ!  Ask God in prayer to lead you to a good Bible-teaching church.  You'll need a Bible to read; read the Bible as much as you can!  Let a pastor or Christian friend know about your decision to pray a prayer of salvation; if you want, you can even email me, and I would be glad to offer additional encouragement to you if I am able.  You are about to embark on the most amazing journey anyone could ever have.  I assure you, that receiving Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior is the BEST decision you could ever make, hands down!

Why Is Jesus Really the Only Way to God?

Ecumenism, what is it?  Universalism, what is that?  The best way I could describe these terms, ecumenism, and universalism, are that they teach that all religions have something good to offer, and that it is beneficial to agree or adopt their positions.

Ecumenicsm says let's all religions be united; universalism says all roads lead to God.  Briefly, we should not align ourselves with any religion just for the sake of "unity."  Just as oil and water do not mix, neither do light and dark belong together.  Be careful not to align yourself with false doctrine, false teaching, or anything or anyone that does not declare Jesus came in the flesh (see 1 John).

Remember,  in John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through Me."  Let those words of Jesus sink deeply into you, your being, and your spirit!

Jesus Himself claims that He and He alone is the way, the truth, and the life.  Are you going to believe the words of the what the world tells you, or what the words of Jesus, the Son of God, tell you?  I encourage you today my friend, to let the words of Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ alone mold and formulate your life's perspective.  Do not allow yourself to be manipulated or influenced by the world, the world systems, or by any of the lies that the world tries to throw at you.

You were created and formed in God's image (read Genesis 3 and/or Psalms 139).  God has a special plan and purpose for you life.  Stay on the Jesus-road, do not align yourself with those who think all religions combined together is okay and even admirable.  (Remember what God did in the Old Testament in Genesis 11 when the people started creating the first new world order~destruction of the Tower of Babel because the people were worshipping evil.)

In John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through Me."  Let those words of Jesus sink in to you TODAY, into your being, afresh and anew into your spirit today.

With Love,

A Sister in Christ,

~M.

How to Be Saved 101

My dear friend,

If you are reading this today, I believe it is not by accident.  I believe God is drawing you to Himself, and that He may want to save you today.

Do you know how much God loves you, my friend?  There is nothing in the world that could ever separate you from His love.  Period.  Hands-down.  I would love for you to become saved, have everlasting life in HIS name, and spend your eternity with Jesus Christ.

Below are the "ABC's of Salvation."

A= Accept or acknowledge that you are a sinner before God.  As it is written:  there is none righteous, no, not one; " (Romans 3:10 NKJV), For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23 NKJV) and For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23).

B= Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord and was raised from the dead.  that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  (Romans 10:9-10 NKJV)  But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name;  (John 1:12 NKJV)  For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.  (John 3:16 NKJV)

C= Call upon the name of the Lord.  For "whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."  (Romans 10:13 NKJV)  And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.  (Acts 2:21 NKJV)

D= Do what God says to do in His Holy Word the Bible; namely, obey the teachings of Jesus.  "Therefore, whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: (Matthew 7:24 NKJV)

E= Experience the fellowship of being with true believers in Jesus Christ.  "Go to a solid, Bible-teaching church."  And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now as the day of His return is drawing near.  (Hebrews 10:25 NLT)

I would like to lead you in a prayer of salvation.  Would you like to receive Jesus into your life?  Would you like to know that when you die you will go to heaven?  Would you like to trust today in Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Savior?  Would you like to follow Jesus and His way of life?  If so, then I would like to lead you in a brief prayer below:

Dear Lord, I accept before You that I am a sinner, and have sinned against You in words, actions or attitudes, and in by not living righteously before You.  I ask You dear Lord for Your forgiveness for all of my sins, and I believe Jesus Christ has forgiven me and cleansed me from all my sin.  Thank you Jesus for forgiving me for all my sins, and I ask You to come fill me up now with Your Holy Spirit; help me live for You from this moment forward.  I call upon Your name, Lord; save me, and change me today into becoming all that You have made me to be.  And, make me born-again.  In Jesus's name I pray this prayer for salvation.  Amen.

If you prayed this prayer, I would love to know!  Also, let a pastor or small group Bible study leader know that you prayed the above prayer.  I encourage you to read your Bible daily, and see what wonderful things God will do in your life.  Never ever EVER give up on the Lord~always keep trusting in the Lord with all your heart~leaning not on your own understanding~and in all your ways acknowledge him~know him~and he will direct your path.  Proverbs 3:5-6  I love you my friend, and thank God for you.  Welcome to the family of God!

Most Sincerely,

Monica Velez

God Has Not Given Up on You

You might think that you are too terrible of a person for God to love.  But, that is simply not true!

The Bible teaches that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Rom 3:23)."  So, if you and I have done wrong things, we can agree with God that we have sinned and do fall short of God's glory.

But, God did not leave us to die in our sins!  In John 3:16, the Bible tells us, "for God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but shall have eternal life."  Wow!  What a great gift!  God wants to give us God's love and eternal life.

But, is it enough that God wants to give us a wonderful present?  Is there something we must do?  The short and simple answer is yes, we must RECEIVE the gift of God's love and of eternal life (Rom 6:23).

How do we receive God's gift?  The simple answer is we "say yes to Jesus."  We admit we're a sinner; we ask God to forgive us of our sins.  For all who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Rom 10:13, Acts 2:21).

Know that Jesus promised that whoever comes to him he will in no way cast out (John 6:37).

Repent and believe in the good news of Jesus Christ (Mark 1:15).  Talk to God daily.  Have a conversation with him.  Read the Bible daily and get to know the God of the Bible, through prayer, reading the Bible, and in serving others.

God has good plans for your life (Jer 29:11).  Believe and stand on his Word today (Matt 7:24). ~MV
